This should alleviate the small roster complaint, but I see both on Steam and here that now people are complaining about the DLC and acting as if they're being cheated out of content rather than content being added. I got Rivals of Aether on Steam, as well as the additional characters DLC. But still, small roster was an issue for people, and thus after some months, the game was supported via adding new characters. Many people would complain about the small cast, though I personally think small casts are a good thing for competition focused games. RoA began with eight characters when it came out of early access. Though I do think this topic brings up an interesting aspect of continued support of a game like this.
